Music Production

What is the process for working with you on a music production project? First, we will have a consulting call to discuss the initial idea. This includes genre, tempo, mood, and influences, among other things. After this, I will draft a sketch idea for your approval before proceeding to recording vocals. Next, we will move on to post-production, and finally, the mix and master.

How long does it typically take to produce a track? This ultimately depends on the scope of the composition. The process of creating music can take anywhere from a few days to a week or more. It involves creating the instrumental track, recording vocals, and post-production with live instruments.

What genres of music do you specialise in? Particularly hip hop, R&B and pop but I can venture into another genres as needed.

Can you work with vocalists or instrumentalists if needed? Additional vocalists can be arranged, yes.

Live DJ’ing

What equipment do you use for live DJ'ing? Primarily Pioneer CDJ’s + Pioneer mixer’s provided by venues. Or my own laptop + Traktor S2 for spaces without Pioneer CDJ’s.

How long do you typically play for a live set? Anywhere between a hour to 5, dependent on the occasion.

What genres of music can you play for a live set? Anything from contemporary pop, to rap, R&B, afrobeats, dancehall, reggaeton, house, 80’s -00’s throwbacks and more.
